2nd Oxigén Great Forest Marathon 2011

Almost 300 runners took part in last year's first trail marathon on the Great Hungarian Plain.
The event takes place in the protected Great Forest (Nagyerdő) on the edge of Debrecen, Hungary's second most populous city with around 200,000 people.
Entrants can choose between the 21km half marathon (4 laps) and the 42km marathon (8 laps). The route runs along very mildly undulating forest trails.
In 2010, the marathon winners were László Kovács (2:46:04) and Henriett Enyediné (3:29:01).
