The Orlen Warsaw Marathon is held annually in April in Poland's capital Warszawa (Warsaw).
Sponsored by a Polish oil refiner and petrol retailer, it has quickly become one of the top road running events in the country, with well over 10,000 participants in two races: 10k and marathon.
The marathon course is gently undulating and scenic, passing a fair number of sights of interest.
In the last years, the start/finish area was at the Stadion Narodowy (National Stadium).
